Welcome to Pawleys Island
If you've never visited Pawleys Island, we hope you'll spend
a few minutes enjoying one of the best kept secrets on the Atlantic Ocean. Pawleys is a three-mile stretch of paradise with a long and storied past dating back to the early 1700's.
Located between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC, Pawleys Island is bordered on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and
on the west by a salt marsh with an almost limitless supply of flounder, oysters, and crabs.
Today Pawleys is one of the few unspoiled, non-commercial oceanfront communites remaining on the east coast of the United States. Enjoy your visit.
About This Web Site
Thanks to all of you for making this a very busy web site. We now have moved everything but the camera to a state-of-the-art web hosting facility in the northeast which can handle high volume Internet traffic and deliver web performance equivalent to what you'll find at Amazon or Disney.
If the camera appears down when you visit this ActiveX version of the site, it typically is the result of the camera resetting. Please come back and try again in about 15 minutes, and all should be well. If you are not running Windows with an Internet Explorer browser, then please try our standard Java-based site by clicking here. It should work swimmingly in most non-Microsoft computing and browsing environments. Download Java here.

As with Pawleys, you won't find much that's commercial on this web site other than a listing of some of our favorite local hangouts and maybe one or two of our favorite toys.
The site was created for the benefit and enjoyment of everyone. We hope you'll tell your friends about us and come back often. -- The Mundy's
